Meet Linda Carso

Linda built a successful corporate career with more than 25 years in marketing and business development, where she held executive positions in the construction and design industries. She built her expertise in business management with a keen eye for human resources, marketing & communications, and business development. She coached her executive team members and colleagues to be promoted and to thrive in their work.

Before starting CarsoCalifornia in 2001, Linda held management and strategic positions in several large corporations located in Michigan, California, and Wyoming. These positions have provided Linda with an invaluable handle on the subjects of human resources, corporate life, and strategic planning.

Today she brings all of the learning from her business experience to clients who want a successful career and need further direction or support.

Linda has also built a well-balanced lifestyle which includes time for work, time for travel, and time to enjoy her ocean-front home in Baja, California, Mexico. She is living her dream of a well-balanced life. She invites her clients to explore how to find their passions* and their purpose.

I employ one-on-one meetings via video sessions to help students and job-seekers discover their unique strengths, organize and market their job search, and effectively focus on talents which promote on-the-job efficiency.

Resume and Cover Letter Revisions
I coach my clients on how to best tell their stories. I provide in-depth reviews and recommendations to optimize resumes and cover letters for the targeted job.

Interview Preparation
Most job-seekers think that the job interview is an opportunity to talk about themselves. This notion is decidedly wrong. This single error in perception is the downfall of job-seekers. My interview coaching thoroughly prepares the job-seeker to stand out from the candidate pool by talking about the job and not the job applicant.

My coaching services include a Salary Negotiation Strategy Session, to help job-seekers gain clarity on compensation needs and navigate the compensation and salary negotiation process.
